第一篇：My Tour Agency

this morning, i would like to argue for true ecological Tourism, or, ecoTourism. to me, a true ecoTour is a Tour that allows us to express our passion for nature and for our cultural heritage.

i love traveling. one of My most memorable trips was climbing the great wall. there, i cherished seeing people of all races and ages gathered on this ancient edifice. i cherished seeing these people smiling at each other, making way for each other, and reminding each other to watch their steps.

while i love traveling, i"m also sad to see the damage Tourism has done to nature and to our historical relics. many Tour agencies like to label their business “ecoTours”。

but they have cut down trees and filled up rivers in order to build roads, hotels and cable cars so as to attract Tourists. and on their Tours, some people pick flowers, catch birds and throw away food that might poison animals.

this is not ecoTourism at all. true ecoTourism involves responsibility. while we enjoy the beauty of nature, we should also help protect it. here let me share an experience.

once, i joined others as young volunteers in an outing. the excursion took us to the peak of a mountain where we got a beautiful view of the city. we were, however, not ordinary Tourists. as we were climbing, we were also picking up the trash left on the ground by other climbers. finally, we carried, in large bags, all the trash down the mountain.

the excursion was exhausting, but i believe, after this experience, not a single one of us will ever litter any Tourist spot. moreover, when we were cleaning up the mountain slope, we caught eyes of many others. some of them might see us as foolish, but more of them, i believe, will take note of the need to protect the environment.

My experience was one of an ecoTourist. we took, but we also gave.

however, on the idea of ecoTourism, there are many misunderstandings. i once telephoned several travel agencies to inquire about ecoTours. and here is how it went:

“hello! ”

“hi, i"m interested in the ecoTour you"ve advertised.”

“oh, yeah, ecoTour.”

“i"m wondering if w(好范文网：wWW.hAowOrD.cOm)e should do anything special as ecoTourists.”

“i"m sorry? oh, nothing… just enjoy the scenery.”

every conversation ended up with “enjoying the scenery.” no one mentioned “protecting the wildlife,” “respecting local customs,” or “preparing a bag for garbage.” none of them made any mention of the obligation and responsibility on the part of Tourists.

like other students, i have had many dreams of what i would like to do after graduation. one of these dreams is to run a travel Agency. in this travel Agency, i would do three things:

first, i would like to have a staff of people who love nature as they love their mothers and can pass on to the customers the same kind of love.

second, i would like to let the customers appreciate the beauty of nature in those natural reservations, safari parks and wild forests, and show them how they can contribute in return for the air, water and nourishment that nature provides.

last but not least, i"d encourage the customers to work as volunteers as i once did. they would live close to nature by cleaning up the natural resorts and planting trees as mementos of their visit.

i still remember when i was standing on the top of the great wall, i could see in some distance many bare mountains with no trees, nothing green. it is My dream that one day i would organize Tours for areas that are suffering from erosion and deforestation, and we would plant trees there. ecoTourism should be an experience of learning and offering-it should not be just seeing the famous sites and posing for photos. on the flag of My Agency, i would like to print this motto:

take nothing away except memory; leave nothing behind except your trees.

join My Tour, My dear friends! it will make china green-and make this world a better place to live.

i apply to the usa through Agency for exchange activity with students all over china.

after over 10 hours just staying in seat and doing nothing, i arrive at the terminal, new york. i feel the cold air all stick on My skin when i just get off the plane. then finally i accept the fact that i have left My beautiful warm hometown, china. with the smell of various kinds of perfumes, i pass through the customs. it was obviously that i am quiet scared, though My Tour pals are all pretty good person. i see a lots of stairs outside of the customhouse and of course plenty of people as well. as the same of other airports, there is huge glass through which i can see the airplanes fly away clearly.

i can easily realize that everyone is tired because of 10 hours staying in airplane. in a quite atmosphere, we get to the hotel. after a hot bath, i fall asleep with the expectation of tomorrow’s trip to those brand universities in america.

before we go on our trip, there is a meeting about how to make friends, but actually i don’t know why we need to read those articles about the topic. however, the wonderful thing after is that we meet many students from the local high school students. what else, we find it is interesting to talk about the culture of our motherland, though i can’t understand all of the words that they say.

i imagined many times that what those famous universities look like, nevertheless, they still impress me much. every barber knows that harvard is one of the best schools over the whole world. i think it might have a serious ambience, but in fact the sun is still shining through the campus. it is interesting to mention that those infrastructures are both very thorough and advanced. moreover, the library is very nice and clean which is quite effective. because of My observation, i can easily figure out why harvard was so famous, student allover the campus will all have a book in their hand which i can hardly do. the sight of the lawn is far increasingly, i say goodbye to the local school students and go back to the hotel later with tire and fresh feelings. as a matter of fact, all of the universities have many similar places which are all commendable. i learn a lot from those academicians, maybe the article of how to make friends help a little too.

in reality, i don’t think it as same as the trip that i go with My parent before, because this trip is not pleasant often and we need to read a lot as well. however, what is kind of dramatic is that My feeling is just as same as what the message of the Agency: “traveling is the best education.”

a Tour guide is a person who guidethrough some Tourist attractions such as some religious and historical sites, museums, or natural scenic spots.

during the Tour, Tour guides will not only introduce the Tour attractions to the travelers, patiently answering the questions, but also, they should make proper arrangements for the transport and accommodation. besides, the most important thing is that they should assure the Tourists of their personal and property safety.

next , let me tell you how to classify different kinds of Tour guide. there are three classifications.

according to the working area, it can be divided into threekinds

full-itinerary guides, local guides, and spot guides. entrusted by the trvel Agency,and act as a representative to serve the Tourists from the very beginning to the end of the journy.also entrusted,but he only provides service on a specific place.its service range is smaller because it only guide the Tourists around a fixed attraction.according to the technical degree , there are Tour guides of junior guide, intermediate guide, senior guide and the last one ,master guide.according to the language, we can say a chinese-speaking guide or a foreign Tour guide.nowadays, there are many chinese-speaking guides all over the world, however, with more and more foreigners travelling to china, there are few Tour guides who can speak foreign language such as spanish , russian, vietnamese and other kinds.

so if you are not so interested in english,not enthusiastic about the profession as a teacher, but a Tour guide, it is a good choice for you to learn another kind of language, and make your effort to be a Tour guide. of course, the first thing you ought to do is to obtain a certificate of Tour guide. in order to obtain that certificate, you need to enrich different fields of knowledge especially geographic and historical knowledge. then ,to be a good Tour guide, it is essential for you to develop your ability to organize and coordinate ,your strain capacity to deal with some unexpected trouble and the third one, your public relation ability.

hello everyone！

how about you in the past 3-day’s holiday？what did you do？what ways would you like to choose to enjoy your holiday？for me，if there’s enough time and money，My answer turns to traveling absolutely. but with the rapid development of the modern Tourist industry，the traveling ways are becoming more and more diversity. among all the ways，package Tour is the ideal way to travel because it is more convenient，more cheap and more comfortable.

an ideal way to travel should meet 3 major standards.

the first major standard is convenience. as we know, most of our traveling are going to a place or some places we have never been there before. we should go there，eat there，live there and play there for several days. image，in a strange place，we may meet a lot of things uncertain，even some trouble. we all hope more convenience and less trouble.

the second major standard is cheapness. traveling may be the behavior of the rich many years ago，but now it becomes an universal behavior. so it must meet our need，our ordinary person’s need. and the biggest problem for us to travel is money. we all need cheap traveling.

the third major standard is comfortable. traveling is not like working. we pay money and time to travel，it means we just want to play, to have fun，to relax ourselves，we need a comfortable environment and service.
